HSBC Singapore Launches Health and Longevity Services for Affluent Clients
HSBC Singapore has launched what it says is Singapore’s first bank-led integrated health, wellness and longevity offering for affluent clients, as lenders increasingly expand beyond traditional banking services to capture growing demand for lifestyle and wellbeing solutions.
The new initiative, introduced under the bank’s Premier wealth proposition, gives clients access to healthcare concierge services, preventive care programmes and longevity-focused wellness offerings through partnerships with IHH Healthcare Singapore and Raffles Medical Group.
The move reflects a broader shift among wealth management clients toward holistic approaches to wealth that combine financial planning with health and quality-of-life considerations.
Under the programme, Premier clients will receive priority access to a 24/7 health concierge service operated by IHH, providing medical guidance, specialist referrals and assistance with hospital admissions. The service is supported by IHH’s regional network of more than 45,000 specialists across Singapore, China, Hong Kong, India and Malaysia.
Clients will also have access to tailored health screening packages and preferential rates at participating IHH clinics, as well as the new Parkway Shenton Health app, which offers personalised health management tools supported by human coaches and an AI-powered assistant.
As part of the bank’s longevity offering, clients can access R17, a new MediWellness facility launched by Raffles Medical Group that focuses on extending healthspan through personalised wellness programmes and coaching. The centre includes evidence-based assessments such as the Raffles Clock, developed by BeyondClock (LinAge2) with researchers from the National University of Singapore.
Ashmita Acharya, Head of International Wealth and Premier Banking, Singapore at HSBC Singapore, said clients are increasingly seeking services that support both financial and personal wellbeing.
«Our clients are increasingly taking a more holistic view of wealth, looking beyond financial outcomes to ‘live’ their weal through health, wellness and longevity,» Acharya said in a statement.
Banks across Asia have been broadening their affluent banking offerings in recent years, adding lifestyle, healthcare and concierge services to differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive wealth management market.
