Private Banker Launches Global Alliance for Women’s Health

Swiss-Based FemmeHealth Alliance aims to bridge the world’s women’s health innovation gap.

FemmeHealth Alliance (FHA) is a newly established non-profit association dedicated to advancing innovation in women’s health through education, events, and partnerships, according to a media release issued on Thursday.

Founded by Leaders from Finance and Pharma

The initiative was founded by private banker Maryann Umoren Selfe, together with Emmanuelle Lecomte-Brisset, a pharmaceutical regulatory expert. The alliance operates independently of the founders’ respective employers.

FHA plans to bring together leaders from the capital, corporate, clinical, and policy spheres through both virtual and in-person events, anchored by a new research and dialogue series and supported by a community of partners.

Kick Off With Virtual Briefing

«Europe has world-class science in women’s health, but solutions often remain stuck in silos,» said Umoren Selfe. «FHA exists to change that by creating a platform where capital, science, and policy share the same agenda,» she added.

The Alliance will kick off with «The Business of Women’s Health 2025: Key Trends and Insights», a virtual briefing to be held on October 23, 2025, from 18:00 to 19:00 CEST.

Industry Leaders Welcome the Launch

The event is open to both members and non-members. FHA membership grants access to webinars, a members-only library, and invitations to in-person gatherings. The Alliance also invites partners and supporters to join its coalition dedicated to closing the gender-health equity gap.

Industry representatives have already expressed support for the initiative. «FemmeHealth Alliance serves as a vital bridge between innovators and investors. By establishing a consistent forum for collaboration, it will accelerate the growth of credible women’s-health solutions across Switzerland and Europe,» Daniel Delfosse, Vice Director of Swiss Medtech, said.

From Research to Real-World Solutions

«FHA’s mission is to accelerate progress in women’s health by fostering collaboration across sectors and ensuring that scientific advances translate into accessible, real-world solutions,» added Lecomte-Brisset, Legal Co-Founder of FHA.
