DWS Appoints CEO of Korea

 German asset manager DWS has appointed a 25-year industry veteran as its chief executive officer for Korea.

DWS has appointed Lee Tae-Young as representative director and CEO of Korea, according to a statement, reporting to Vanessa Wang, head of APAC and head of coverage APAC.

Lee has more than 25 years of asset management experience, including 23 years with DWS. He succeeds Byun Hyun‑Soo, who will continue in the role of DWS Korea chairman during the transition period and will also continue to serve as head of liquid investment strategy for Korea.
