Amundi Names Asia Ex-China Head of Corporate Clients
A former Citi banker has joined French asset manager Amundi’s Hong Kong office to expand the corporate client business in the region.
Amundi has appointed Carine Souvannavong as head of corporate clients, Asia ex-China, according to a statement, tasked with developing new business opportunities with treasury, pension funds, family offices and reinsurance clients in the region. Based in Hong Kong, she reports to Asia CEO Eddy Wong and Sandrine Rougeron, global head of corporate clients and head of liquidity solutions sales.
Souvannavong has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, most recently as a relationship manager at Citi’s corporate banking division in Hong Kong. Between 2009 and 2015, she also held sales position at J.P. Morgan in London and Hong Kong, where she was responsible for developing cash, liquidity and trade solutions tailored to multinational companies.
