Banking Barometer 2018: Pictet

Pictet Asset Management was beset by tragedy when its international multi-asset head, Percival Stantion (pictured above), died. He was also Vice Chair of Pictet Asset Management and an equity partner in the business. A well-regarded asset manager, Stanion joined Pictet in 2014 from Barings. Prior to that he had worked at BNP Paribas Asset Management as head of asset allocation for three years and had previously spent six years at Pictet Asset Management, during which time he was responsible for global diversified accounts.
«Percival Stantion was a man of great integrity, culture and penetrating intelligence, whose insights into financial markets were always incisive and elegantly expressed. He bore his illness with fortitude and stayed involved in the business until very recently. We shall miss him,» a spokesperson for Pictet said. Stanion was 60 at the time of his death.
