FWD Establishes Hong Kong HQ via New Lease
Pan-Asian insurer FWD has established a new headquarters in Hong Kong via a freshly signed lease.
FWD has established a new headquarters at Taikoo Place, located in an eastern business district in Hong Kong, according to a statement. The insurer is signing a decade-long lease and consolidating its office space in the city by taking up 330,000 square feet across 12 floors, making it the largest office tenant at Taikoo Place. In turn, the building it occupies will be renamed from Devon House to FWD Tower, effective 1 January 2026.
«Establishing ‘FWD Tower’ as our Hong Kong headquarters marks a major milestone in our growth journey and reflects our long-term commitment to the city’s role as a global financial hub,» said Ken Lau, managing director of Greater China and Hong Kong CEO, FWD.
The new lease is FWD’s latest expansion following its recent IPO in July which raised around HK$3.5 billion ($450 million).
