VP Bank in Singapore extends its leadership team by appointing a new head for its intermediaries business.

Thomas Jost joins the local management of VP Bank in Singapore as head of intermediaries, according to a news release on Monday evening. As of 1 August 2019 he will report directly to Singapore’s head of client business Reto Marx.

Jost is a Swiss citizen and has almost 20 years of experience in the financial sector, including more than eight years in the Singapore financial center. His professional positions have led him to Credit Suisse, Bank Julius Baer, and EFG Bank. In his new role, his focus will be on Asian external asset managers to support VP Bank’s growth aspiration in the region.

The personnel realignment supports the further expansion of VP Bank Group's Asia strategy. In mid-July 2019, the Liechtenstein-based firm announced the signing of a letter of intent for a strategic cooperation with Hywin Wealth Management in Shanghai, as finews.asia also reported.
