VP Bank Strengthens International Leadership
Liechtenstein-based VP Bank Group has appointed a new Head of International Locations to oversee its strategic markets in Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Singapore from 1 January 2026, underscoring the bank’s ambition to deepen its global client franchise.
VP Bank’s Board of Directors has named Felix Brill as the new leader for its international locations, according to a media release issued on Thursday. The role covers responsibility for client business across three key jurisdictions – Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Singapore – reflecting the bank’s commitment to strengthening its global footprint.
Brill currently sits on the Group Executive Management. He will take over from CEO Urs Monstein, who has held the position on an interim basis.
Reinforcing Investment Expertise at the Top
Brill also serves as VP Bank’s Chief Investment Officer. Since early 2025, he has overseen the Investment & Client Services division, where he has been responsible for defining investment strategy and leading the Group’s research and investment teams.
In the updated leadership structure, he will continue to shape VP Bank’s investment strategy. Responsibility for products and services, however, will transition to the Market Strategy & Client Development division under Rolf Steiner.
Extensive Track Record
Brill is an economist with an extensive track record in the financial industry. Before joining VP Bank, he served as CEO and Chief Economist at Wellershoff & Partners.
His academic credentials include a doctorate in economics from the University of Bern and the Gerzensee Study Center, as well as a Master’s degree from the University of St. Gallen.
