Singlife Consolidates Workforce in New Singapore Office

Insurer Singlife has relocated to a new office in Singapore, consolidating its 1,200-strong workforce into a single space.

Singlife has moved to its new Singapore office at Straits View, Marina One, according to a statement. The new space includes 74,000 square feet across three levels which will house over 1,200 employees.

The relocation will bring together the insurer’s employees from its offices at SGX Center 2 and its subsidiaries – Singlife Financial Advisers, GROW with Singlife and PROPEL with Singlife – previously based at 51 Cuppage Road and OUE Downtown 2, respectively.

«The move to Marina One is more than just a change of address – it marks the next phase in Singlife’s journey,» said Pearlyn Phau, group CEO, Singlife. «As we evolve to better serve our customers, partners and communities, the new space will enable us to collaborate more effectively, enhance productivity and deliver on our mission of providing a better way to achieve financial freedom.»

Customer Service Center

Singlife also unveiled a new customer service center on level 1 of Marine One, The Heart. It was designed in consultation with SG Enable and incorporates enhanced accessibility features, including a wheelchair-friendly two-tier service counter, a dedicated consultation booth for those with mobility issues, priority queuing for seniors, inclusive signage, and hearing assistance technology.

The center has a Singa the Kindness Lion bench, an iconic symbol of Singapore’s «kindness movement» – a non-profit initiative aimed at cultivating kindness and graciousness in Singaporean society.

Sustainable Facility

The new office is built with sustainability in mind, with expectations of saving over 95,000 kWh of electricity annually. It also includes more than 1,400 pieces of reused furniture, energy-efficient lighting and greener materials.

This supports Singlife’s broader goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050.
