Savills: Dubai is the Top Hotspot for HNWIs
Dubai has topped the charts as the leading location for high net worth individuals worldwide, according to a study by Savills.
Out of nearly 100 top locations globally, Dubai was ranked as the leading hotspot for high net worth individuals (HNWI), according to an index in an inaugural study by Savills entitled «Spotlight on Wealth Trends». This was followed by New York, Singapore, Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi.
Other destinations in Asia that were in the top 30 include Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, Tokyo and Shenzhen.
«Each of these cities offers the full suite of strong business and family environments, legal structures that make redistributing straightforward, strong lifestyle provisions, and high levels of security and privacy,» the report said.
Nearly 100 top HNWI hotspots were analyzed in the index, measuring their business environments, family environments and legacy potential, with equal weightings to each factor.
