Trust Bank: US Fractional Trading Comes to Singapore

Trust Bank is taking a bold leap forward with the launch of a trading platform for US stocks and ETFs, making it the first banking app in Singapore to offer fractional trading and providing everyday investors with easier access to global markets.

Earlier this year, Trust Bank introduced TrustInvest, designed to make investing simple and accessible for everyone. Now, the digital bank is taking that promise further by launching a trading platform for US-listed stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) directly within the Trust App.

The new feature enables users to buy and sell global equities directly within the app, providing a seamless way to invest, track, and grow their wealth all in one place.

Power of Fractional Shares

Trust’s latest offering includes one standout feature: fractional trading. This allows customers to invest in fractions of high-priced stocks – so they no longer need hundreds of dollars to own shares in their favourite companies.

«Some popular stocks and ETFs cost over S$500 per share,» the bank noted. «With fractional trading, you can start small and still build a diversified portfolio.» The feature opens up access to iconic names like Netflix, Meta, or Apple to a broader audience of investors.

Diversify with ETFs and Sector Plays

Alongside individual stocks, investors will be able to trade ETFs, providing an easy way to diversify their holdings. These funds bundle multiple assets – from index trackers to sector-focused or digital asset portfolios – into a single investment, allowing users to spread risk while targeting specific themes or markets.

Everything happens within the Trust App, removing the need to move funds between different platforms. The experience is designed to be «simple, seamless, and secure».

Waitlist Opens Today

Eager investors can already join the waitlist for the new TrustInvest trading platform. Existing Trust customers can register directly in the app, while new users can open a Trust Savings account in just minutes to get started.

Waitlisted users will be invited to open trading accounts in the coming weeks.

Empowering Every Investor

«Following the success of our initial TrustInvest launch, we are excited to expand our offering so that customers can trade US stocks and ETFs,» said Dwaipayan Sadhu, CEO of Trust Bank. «Offering fractional trading means all our customers can access a wide range of investments through an easy-to-use and seamless banking app.»

With this move, Trust Bank is positioning itself as a true trailblazer in Singapore’s digital banking landscape – bringing Wall Street closer to everyday investors.
