Goldman Merges Asia Investment Banking Units

New York-based Goldman Sachs has merged what was previously three separate investment banking units in Asia.

Goldman Sachs is combining three Asian investment banking businesses into a single unit, according to a «Reuters» report citing a memo.

This will integrate the bank’s regional deals advice and capital market capabilities. Current Asia ex-Japan head of investment banking Iain Drayton will lead the newly merged APAC investment banking unit.
