Natixis CIB Opens New Branch in India’s GIFT City

Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking (Natixis CIB) has announced the opening of a new branch in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City, marking a key step in the bank’s strategy to expand its footprint in India and the broader Asia-Pacific region.

The new office, located in India’s flagship international financial hub, is expected to strengthen Natixis CIB’s ability to serve both domestic and international clients while supporting its long-term growth and diversification plans.

The branch will be led by Pranav Vyas, who has more than two decades of experience in the banking sector and deep expertise in building financial operations within India. He will report to Sanjeev Kumar, Senior Country Manager for Singapore and Head of South East and South Asia at Natixis CIB.

Bruno Le Saint, CEO for Asia Pacific and the Middle East at Natixis CIB, said the move underscores the bank’s commitment to expanding in strategically important markets. «Establishing our new branch in GIFT City is an important step in delivering our Asia Pacific expansion strategy and deepening our regional presence,» he said.

The GIFT City branch will focus on providing foreign currency-denominated financing and structured products across sectors such as energy, infrastructure, aviation, and commodities. It will also support export financing, including external commercial borrowings, for corporate and institutional clients.

According to the bank, the new unit will play a key role in connecting Indian companies with global markets, while also helping international clients access opportunities in India’s rapidly growing financial ecosystem. Natixis CIB plans to scale up the branch in line with business demand and regulatory requirements.
