Former Goldman Sachs banker Tim Leissner’s 1MDB-linked sentence in the US was due today but the court has delayed the delivery of the ruling.

US District Judge Margo Brodie in Brooklyn postponed the hearing for Tim Leissner’s sentence to February 15 next year without proving any explanation, according to a «Bloomberg» report. Leissner pleaded guilty to bribery and money laundering charges in 2018 and was scheduled to receive his sentence today.

Leissner has been free on a $20 million bail since his arrest in 2018.

Ex-colleague Roger Ng’s sentencing has been scheduled by Brodie for November 9 after being found guilty in April during a two-month trial over his involvement in the 1MDB scandal.
