The wife of former Malaysian prime minister Najib Razak has reportedly dropped her claim for a white gold bracelet seized in previous 1MDB raids.

Rosmah Mansor has given up her claim for a $220,000 white gold diamond bracelet seized during a 1MDB raid in 2018, according to a report from Malaysian news agency «Bernama».

Her lawyer informed a Malaysian high court of the decision yesterday with regards to the bracelet which is currently being kept in the vaults of the local central bank.

The bracelet was obtained from 1MDB raids in which police seized 1.1 billion ringgit ($250 billion) worth of items linked to Najib Razak.

Najib is currently appealing a criminal conviction at the federal court, in addition to multiple upcoming trials in the high court, over his role in the 1MDB scandal of which he has denied any wrongdoing.
