AXA Hires Senior Insurance Trio in Singapore
AXA has hired for three senior roles in its Singapore insurance business to bolster its presence in the city-state.
Jeremy Ong joins as the chief customer and operations officer to oversee all activities relating to customers, technology and operations. Ong was most recently a senior vice president in the group CEO office of NTUC Enterprise.
Julien Callard was appointed as the firm's managing director overseeing the retail business and general insurance distribution functions. He was most recently the head of retail property and casualty at AXA Mexico after joining the insurer in 2000.
Mauricio Coarasa was appointed as the chief financial officer, joining from AXA Korea where he held the same position. Coarasa first joined AXA in 2010 and held various senior roles including its head of investments and head of strategic planning in Mexico.
All three new appointees will report to Jean Drouffe, CEO of AXA Singapore.
«Jeremy’s experience and expertise in customer relations, IT and digital transformation, will be an invaluable addition to the business as we scale efforts to further bolster our IT capabilities and improve services for our customers,» Drouffe said, adding that Callard and Coarasa will also be able to advance their careers through the AXA platform.
