Liechtenstein's princely LGT bank picked a Swiss fintech firm to digitalize its global customer lifecycle management processes.

LGT selected Swiss financial technology firm Appway, to digitize its operational and client-facing processes. The move will see the bank upgrading the onboarding process for its Vaduz head office as well as its Asian private banking branches in Singapore and Hong Kong.

Appway claims the action will boost internal collaboration across departments and locations by coordinating LGT’s existing systems and applications, including its Avaloq core banking platform.

«This is a strong investment in our customer service capabilities and the processes will enable it to scale our advisory services,» said André Lagger, CEO of LGT Financial Services.

The bank will begin the first phase of the project this month covering all stages of the client lifecycle, including prospecting, onboarding, support, and offboarding.
