HSBC is bolstering its business with Singapore's retail and wealthy clients with a quartet of new faces and promotions of existing bankers.

The British bank promoted Cameron Senior to run its wealth and international business in the city-state. The 20-year HSBC veteran was formerly head of retail distribution for the bank in Singapore.

HSBC said it appointed Fion Khoh head of network, a new role at the bank. Christine Lim joins the bank as head of direct sales from ANZ's Singapore arm.

The bank also moved Lina Chan, who spearheads client management and business development in Singapore, into a newly-created multi-channel optimization job. An 18-year veteran of the bank, she has also run its direct banking team in Vietnam.

HSBC made a number of changes to its wealth team in Singapore last year, including luring back former UBS banker Philip Kunz as head of global private banking in Southeast Asia.
