Swiss banking giant UBS inaugurated a new digital centre in Hong Kong. One of its aspirations is to bring wealthy clients and startups closer together to forge collaborations.

Based in Kowloon the new unit known as «The Digital Hub» plans to provide client tours and industry technology events, as well as working on cutting-edge technologies to identify opportunities and challenges the bank faces.

UBS Asia's largest wealth manager also plans to begin startup speed dating by bringing together ultra high net worth clients and startups around key topics or deal stages.

Ramping up Tech Capabilities
