Former Azura CEO Joins Paragon Capital in New C-Suite Role

Singapore-based Paragon Capital Management has appointed former Azura Investment Partners CEO Trevor Lau as its inaugural chief commercial officer, handing the veteran private banker responsibility for driving the multi-asset manager’s commercial expansion across Asia.

Paragon Capital Management (PCM) has named Trevor Lau as its first chief commercial officer as the asset manager looks to expand its client base and deepen its presence across key Asian markets.

Lau brings more than two decades of experience across private banking, wealth management and investment advisory. He most recently served as chief executive officer of Azura Investment Partners and previously held senior positions at Credit Suisse, UBS and Citigroup Private Bank.

Commercial Push Across Asia

In the newly created role, Lau will oversee PCM's commercial strategy, spanning business development, capital raising, strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement, marketing and client initiatives.

His mandate covers Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand as well as the firm's broader regional expansion.

«The Chief Commercial Officer role reflects our confidence in the opportunities ahead and our ambition to continue growing our business across Asia,» said Paul Lee, co-founder, chief executive officer and chief investment officer of Paragon Capital Management.

According to Lee, Lau's appointment is intended to strengthen the connection between PCM's investment capabilities and its clients, investors, intermediaries and strategic partners.

More Than S$1.5 Billion in Assets

The appointment comes as Paragon continues to expand its regional footprint. The firm manages more than S$1.5 billion in assets and operates offices in Singapore and Hong Kong, while building its presence in Thailand.

Its multi-asset platform serves accredited investors, family offices and institutional clients across both public and private markets.

PCM's investment offering spans global equities, fixed income and alternative strategies as well as venture capital and private equity real estate.

«I look forward to working closely with our talented team to strengthen client relationships, expand strategic partnerships, and drive sustainable growth across our key markets,» Lau said of his appointment.
