DLA Piper is building a Leverage Finance team with new hires in London and Hong Kong.

DLA Piper has appointed Phil Crump and Doug Murning to its Leverage Finance team, part of the Finance and Projects practice.

Crump will lead the London Leverage Finance team and, joining alongside him is Murning, who will initially split his time between London and Hong Kong, the firm said on its website.

Tapping Asian Growth

Murning joins from Kirkland & Ellis's Hong Kong office where he has focused on leveraged finance and other complex event-driven finance transactions, Special Situations and alternative credit provider financings, and the restructuring of complex debt arrangements. He advises both borrowers and capital providers at all levels of the capital structure.

The firm is committed to growing its global Finance practice and follows the recent appointment of Senior Consultant to the firm, Maurice Allen.
