Janus Henderson Hires Sales Manager from Blackrock
Janus Henderson is further expanding its team in Switzerland with the appointment of a manager for institutional clients.
Genico Reyes joins Janus Henderson’s Client Group as Director of Institutional Sales as of 1 April 2026. He will be based in Zurich and report to Marc Theis, Head of Switzerland & Liechtenstein, the British asset manager said in a statement on Wednesday.
In his new role, Reyes will be responsible for further developing the institutional business in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The focus will be particularly on the evolving needs of pension funds and insurance companies in the region.
Experience at UBS and Credit Suisse
Reyes joins Janus Henderson from Blackrock Asset Management. He brings extensive experience to his new role. At the world’s largest asset manager, he served as an Institutional Client Relationship Manager. Prior to that, he worked for six years at UBS and four years at Credit Suisse, where he held various client-facing and strategic positions. He is fluent in English and German.
«His extensive experience and deep understanding of the Swiss institutional market make him an excellent addition to our team,» said Theis.
