StanChart Launches AI Platform for Transaction Banking
UK-based Standard Chartered has introduced an AI-powered platform for its employees to deliver faster and more targeted transaction banking services to clients.
Standard Chartered has launched a platform powered by artificial intelligence (AI) to help relationship managers, sales teams and proposal managers quickly access, tailor and deliver transaction banking services for corporate and institutional clients, according to a statement.
The bank named three key capabilities from the platform. First, it automates and enhances access, selection and tailoring of client solutions. Second, it acts as a single access point for the latest product and market capabilities. Third, it is built for continuous enhancement and innovation with easy connection to other platforms and technologies, ensuring long-term value and impact.
«In an environment where clients expect faster, more accurate, and highly personalised responses, meeting this expectation at scale can be a challenge. By equipping our teams with advanced AI capabilities through the new digital platform, we can better understand client needs and provide more relevant, tailored solutions,» said Mark Troutman, global head of transaction banking corporate sales at Standard Chartered.
