GHD Powers Up With Leadership For Expansion
Global professional services firm GHD is strengthening its Southeast Asia presence with two senior appointments that underline its «Bold Growth» strategy.
Tara Herley steps in as Business Group Leader, Infrastructure Advisory – Southeast Asia, while Jason Fonti takes on the role of Head of Infrastructure Investment & Capital Projects – APAC, according to a media release issued on Thursday.
The appointments mark the next phase in GHD’s regional momentum. GHD is a global professional services firm operating across the markets of water, energy and resources, environment, property and buildings, and transportation.
Connecting Global Capital with Local Opportunity
Herley will spearhead the expansion of GHD’s advisory services across the region, leveraging her extensive experience across transport, energy, resources, and digital sectors.
«We’re seeing a surge in investor appetite across Southeast Asia,» said Herley. «By connecting global capital with Southeast Asian opportunity, we’re helping shape infrastructure that delivers long-term value for communities.»
Singapore at the Heart of Regional Ambition
Fonti brings more than twenty years of experience advising governments and private-sector clients on infrastructure strategy, transactions, and capital projects. Having recently worked with GHD’s North American business, he returns to Asia with a clear mission.
«Singapore’s role as a financial, policy and innovation hub makes it the natural home for investors and advisors driving the next wave of growth in the region,» Fonti noted. «We’re building a capability that enables clients to deploy capital with confidence – combining technical depth, commercial insight, and global reach to deliver outcomes that matter.»
Positioning for a New Era of Infrastructure Investment
The appointments come as GHD accelerates its Southeast Asian growth agenda. Governments and investors are increasingly turning to innovative models to deliver complex infrastructure projects and unlock capital.
The firm positions itself as a trusted partner across the full project lifecycle – from strategy and investment readiness through to execution and optimisation.
