Sixth Street to Launch Singapore Office

San Francisco-based investment firm Sixth Street has announced the opening of a new office in Singapore and appointed a 24-year Goldman vet to lead the regional business.

Sixth Street will open a new Singapore office in October, led by Stuart Wrigley who has been appointed as partner, head of Sixth Street Asia Pacific and head of capital formation and strategy international, according to a statement.

In this newly created role, Wrigley will be responsible for leading the expansion of Sixth Street’s client franchise across APAC, Europe and the Middle East. He will focus on deepening relationships with existing investors and leading new capital formation activity, strategic partnerships and the expansion of the firm’s investment capabilities in APAC.

Wrigley joins following a 24-year tenure at Goldman Sachs, where he most recently served as head of client solutions group in APAC for Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

Regional Track Record

Sixth Street notes that it has a longstanding track record of investing in APAC, including in data center platform AirTrunk and real asset manager ESR Group Limited.
