GXS Bank Names New Chief
Singapore-based GXS Bank has announced the appointment of a new group chief executive officer.
GXS Bank’s board of directors has appointed Pei-Si Lai (pictured below) as group CEO, effective June 1, to succeed Muthukrishnan Ramaswami who will retire on May 31, according to a statement. Lai is currently CEO of GXBank, the Malaysian subsidiary of GXS Bank, and her existing role will be taken over by GXBank deputy CEO Kaushik Chowdhury.

GXS Bank is a digital lender licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. It is owned by a consortium consisting of Southeast Asian super app Grab and Singapore telecommunications conglomerate Singtel.
