Wealth Journey Upgraded: GXS Bank Introduces Digital Platform
In a move that cements its position as a leader in digital retail banking, GXS Bank has unveiled GXS Invest, a new digital investment platform aimed at helping everyday consumers grow their wealth with ease and peace of mind.
With GXS Invest, GXS Bank rounds out its digital wealth management offering, complementing its popular Savings Account features – Saving Pockets and Boost Pockets. The new platform enables customers to pursue potentially higher returns while maintaining the user-friendly, flexible experience that has become a hallmark of the bank.
The launch fund, the Fullerton SGD Cash Fund (Class G), is a money market product known for its low-risk profile and over 15 years of stable returns. This aligns with feedback from the bank’s customers, three in five of whom seek conservative investment options.
A Trusted Fund, A Trusted Partner
Managed by award-winning Fullerton Fund Management, the fund is backed by an independent asset manager owned by Temasek Holdings. This pedigree offers a layer of institutional trust, making it easier for new investors to take their first step.
«We know our customers are looking for higher returns on their spare cash, but they also want the flexibility to access it anytime,» said Jenn Ong, group head of retail at GXS Bank. «GXS Invest is our response to that need, offering safe, liquid, and low-barrier entry investments for all.»
Starting from Just S$1 – No Strings Attached
Anyone with a GXS Savings Account can start investing through the GXS app with as little as S$1 ($0.8). There are no transaction fees when buying or selling fund units, and no lock-in period. Redemption proceeds arrive in the customer’s account within one to two working days, offering almost instant access.
This level of accessibility and convenience is aimed squarely at Singapore’s digital-first generation – savvy, cautious, and seeking modern financial solutions that fit seamlessly into their lives.
Protection That Goes the Extra Mile
What truly sets this fund apart is the inclusion of complimentary group personal accident insurance, underwritten by Singlife. Eligible investors are covered up to three times their investment, capped at S$100,000—an exceptional feature rarely seen in money market products.
«Beyond yield, this exclusive share class offers protection that’s rarely found in cash management products,» said Mark Yuen, chief business development officer at Fullerton Fund Management. «It’s a powerful, yet simple way to make your cash work harder—without compromising on flexibility.»
Looking Ahead: A Broader Suite of Funds
Over the next 12 months, GXS Bank plans to expand its GXS Invest offerings to include a wider range of funds, addressing the diverse investment needs of its growing customer base.
By focusing on inclusivity, simplicity, and smart protection, GXS Bank is not only democratizing access to institutional-grade investments—it’s reshaping the way everyday people think about wealth-building.
