Hong Kong Kicks Off Asian Financial Forum 2026

Hong Kong’s Asian Financial Forum 2026 has commenced with more than 3,600 attendees expected this year.

The 19th edition of the Asian Financial Forum (AFF) begins today in Hong Kong under the the tagline «Finance Empowering Business and the overall theme, «Co-creating New Horizons amid an Evolving Landscape».

The two-day event is expected to be attended by 3,600 attendees from 60 countries and regions, including finance and business leaders, visionary investors and entrepreneurs, senior policymakers, academics and economists. 150 speakers will be featured, covering topics including the global economic outlook, investment insights, asset and wealth management, trade finance and supply chain, family office ecosystem, fintech, pension and endowment, and gold exchange.

«In just over three weeks, we will celebrate the Lunar New Year - the Year of the Horse. The horse symbolizes vitality, perseverance and progress, qualities I'm sure we all look forward to realizing, despite the hurdles and obstacles we face in today's non-stop geopolitical steeplechase,» said Hong Kong chief executive John Lee in an opening speech.
