UBS Expands Flagship Conference to Singapore
UBS' flagship Asian Investment Conference will be extended beyond Hong Kong to Singapore.
UBS will expand its Asian Investment Conference (AIC) beyond Hong Kong to Singapore this year with a wealth management-focused event, according to a statement. AIC will take place in Hong Kong from May 27 to 30 with more than 3,500 participants signed up. The AIC: Wealth Edition in Singapore is scheduled for May 22 and will target 1,000 clients.
«Following the resounding success of last year's AIC, which saw record attendance and recognition as one of the top value conferences in the region, we are excited to expand the event to include a Wealth Edition in Singapore,» commented Iqbal Khan, co-president global wealth management and president of Asia Pacific at UBS.
«The decision to expand the conference is driven by strong client demand for global connectivity and actionable insights.»
Event Agenda
The AIC’s theme this year is «Unlocking tomorrow: Harnessing resilience, embracing opportunity» with 90 speakers covering topics such as the economic outlook, geopolitics, artificial intelligence and technology.
During the last week of May, the bank’s agenda will include the APAC Family Office Summit, a Data Intelligence Forum for hedge fund clients, a Trading Symposium, an exclusive Fireside Track for chief investment officers and two days of content from policymakers, industry experts, bestselling authors, academics, iconic figures as well as from UBS analysts and subject matter experts.
Guests will also be invited to a special networking evening featuring renowned circus producer Cirque du Soleil.
2024 Figures
AIC is now in its 28th year and its second year since UBS inherited the event from the now-defunct Credit Suisse. In 2024, the conference attracted a record 3,000 attendees which included global institutional and sovereign investors, family offices, asset owners, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals alongside top executives from companies across 30 countries.
«At UBS, we achieve excellence by blending our rich heritage with global expertise and local insights, enabling us to help our clients realize their financial goals. The AIC is a unique platform designed to connect local knowledge with global capabilities, providing actionable ideas,» Khan added.
