Key industry event to take place in person for the first time since 2019, with finews.asia returning as an official media partner.

Many of the world’s key fintech exponents will finally be able to meet live for the first time in three years at the Singapore Fintech Festival, which will be held between 2 and 4 November.

The event is one of the largest of its kind in the world and it is aimed at helping to connect the public and private sectors with fintech and the broader financial services industry.

More than 60,000 participants, 850 speakers, and 450 exhibitors from 110 countries are expected to attend, including many of the world’s largest financial services companies and global banks. Besides that, 295 government representatives, policymakers, and regulators will also participate.

Strong Swiss Presence

A Swiss delegation is returning for the sixth time with a pavilion displaying twenty of the country’s leading fintech enterprises, reflecting the fact that it is a hub for emerging technologies in blockchain and distributed ledger technology (DLT).

«With the new DLT Framework coming into effect in 2021, Switzerland is one of the first countries in the world to deliver advanced regulatory solutions and specific amendments for fintech, blockchain, and DLT,» according to a media release issued by Switzerland Global Enterprise, an export and investment promotion organization.
