Cantor Fitzgerald Taps UBS Former Managing Director
Cantor Fitzgerald has appointed a former UBS executive as global head of asset management.
William (Bill) Ferri will lead the expansion of Cantor Fitzgerald Asset Management’s planned expansion in outperforming strategies, ranging from private markets such as real estate, infrastructure and private credit, as well as equity, hedge funds and crypto-related plays, the investment bank said in a press release Wednesday.

Cantor Fitzgerald’s asset management expansion Is expected to use both organic and inorganic growth, including strategic partnerships and joint ventures, the release said.
Ferri was at UBS for 25 years, serving as head of Americas for UBS Asset Management and group managing director, the statement said. He was a founder of the hedge fund business, UBS O'Connor and Hedge Fund Solutions, the statement said.
Cantor Fitzgerald is an investment bank with a focus on fixed income and equity capital markets, investment banking, SPAC underwriting and PIPE placements, prime brokerage, asset management and commercial real estate.
