Singapore-based asset manager HP Wealth Management and a Swiss specialist for digital transformation launch a wealth management platform integrating a range of services for independent wealth managers.

HP Wealth Management and Teamwork completed the implementation of Wize successfully, according to a media release Friday. Wize is a sophisticated wealth management platform, seamlessly integrating a portfolio management system, reporting tools, AML, digital onboarding under one umbrella.

«After more than ten years developing our solution from Switzerland, we decided in 2019 to invest more heavily in APAC and to accelerate our development there (mainly in Singapore and Hong Kong at least initially). We had the chance to meet the HP Wealth Management team, and together we were able to take up the challenge they were offering us,» Cedric Baiker, Managing Director and founder at WIZE by TeamWork (Switzerland), said.

Constant Evolution

Teamwork is an independent international group, founded in 1999 in Geneva by its CEO Philippe Rey-Gorrez. As a strategic partner in digital transformation, the group has more than 800 employees spread over 17 international locations (Switzerland, France, Vietnam, Singapore, China, India, Canada and the U.S.).

«The needs and demands of our clients, particularly in the Family Office segment, constantly evolve. With Wize I believe we have made a wise decision (pun intended) and are convinced that the substantial investment in time, energy and money will further cement our position as one of the leading independent wealth managers in Singapore,» Urs Brutsch, Managing Partner at HP Wealth Management, added.

No Retrocessions

HP Wealth Management was founded in 2009 by Brutsch and obtained the CMS License from the MAS in 2012. It manages money on a discretionary and advisory basis for clients predominantly based in Asia. It applies a transparent fee structure and does not work with retrocessions, i.e. its interest is aligned with that of its clients.
