He joins the multi-family office from DBS, where he was a senior director at its private bank.

Raffles Family Office has appointed Marvin Koh as managing director for relationship management, the firm announced in a LinkedIn post on Tuesday.

Koh brings more than 10 years of experience in private banking and wealth management, serving clients from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China in his time at DBS, CIC Banque Privée and ABN Amro Private Banking.

In his new role, Koh will use his deep knowledge and technical skills to serve the firm's growing ranks of ultra-high-net-worth clients and families in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Strong Growth

Raffles Family Office, founded in Hong Kong in 2016, currently has a headcount of about 60. It expanded to Singapore in 2018, and in May 2019 partnered data aggregator Canopy to offer its relationship managers and clients automated account aggregation and analytics.

It launched its China joint venture with wealth management fintech platform iFast in October 2019 to target Chinese ultra-high net worth individuals’ onshore needs.

Founder Chi Man Kwan said in an interview with finews.asia that it plans to grow its $2 billion in assets under management to $10 billion through the acquisition of smaller asset managers with $50 million to $200 million in Hong Kong and Singapore.
