Wealth manager Marcuard Heritage adds two managing directors to its team in Singapore. Both of them moved to the city-state 20 years ago.

Marcuard Heritage (Singapore) has hired Rachel Ryser and Urs Grueter, according to a media release sent on Thursday.

Ryser joins from Credit Suisse, where she was a regional team leader for Asian private clients offshore in Singapore. Since joining the firm in 2001, she has held various leadership roles and handled UHNW/HNW Indonesian clients with her team.

Grueter began his professional career with UBS in 1999 as part of its Junior Key People program. He performed various client-facing and management roles for the bank, before joining Credit Suisse in 2016 as market head for Thailand and Vietnam.

Acting in the Best Interest of Clients

The two hires follow the addition of senior banker Vincent Wee in February 2020. He joined Marcuard Heritage from Deutsche Bank.

«Client-servicing is at the very heart of our platform. We allow dedicated and veteran teams like Rachel Ryser and Urs Grueter to continue doing what they do best, acting in the best interest for clients with a truly independent approach,» Armando Beer, CEO of Marcuard Heritage (Singapore), said.

Marcuard Heritage (Singapore) is part of Marcuard Heritage Group, an international independent wealth management company founded in Switzerland in 2003. Today, it has offices in Zurich, Moscow, Singapore, Limassol and London. Institutional asset management firm Alpinum Investment Management also belongs to the group, and offers fiduciary services through a partnership with Swisspartners.
