He succeeds Antoine Candiotti, who is retiring after more than three decades at Indosuez.

The global wealth management brand of Crédit Agricole Group has named Olivier Livenais as the successor of outgoing Hong Kong CEO Antoine Candiotti, who is retiring after three decades with the group.

Livenais, a 20-year veteran of Crédit Agricole Group, began his career in 2000 at the general inspectorate. In 2007, he was appointed director of Finace, Strategy and Risk at Indosuez Wealth Management. He was appointed CEO of Indosuez in Miami in 2013, and in 2016 became global head of Business Development at Indosuez Wealth Management, based in Paris.

While in charge of Indosuez Group’s mergers and acquisitions between 2016 and 2018, Livenais oversaw the firm's acquisition of Crédit Industriel et Commercial’s (CIC) private banking operations in Asia in 2017, which has since boosted its ranks of wealth managers and offerings for high net worth clients.

Key Markets

In his new role, which is effective 1 March, subject to approval by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Livenais will be responsible for the firm's wealth management business in Hong Kong and North Asia, which are key markets for Indosuez. He reports to Omar Shokur, Indosuez Wealth Management CEO Asia and Singapore branch manager.

According to its website, Indosuez's Hong Koing office has more than 130 professionals who deal exclusively with wealth management for international and regional clients.

As of 30 June 2019, Indosuez had €130 billion ($145.4 billion) in assets under management.
