BNP Paribas announced a new head of wealth management service, Hong Kong, in an internal promotion.

Gabriel Chan has been appointed Head of Investment Services Hong Kong, BNP announced in a media statement on Tuesday. Based in Hong Kong, Chan reports to Garth Bregman, Head of Investment Services APAC, BNP Paribas Wealth Management, who is located in Singapore.

«Gabriel Chan has been a key architect of our award-winning advisory platform over the past two years and will apply his deep industry experience to enhance our capabilities across the board,» said Bregman. 

To Deliver Investment Offerings

In his role, Chan is responsible for overseeing the delivery of the Bank’s investment offering and advisory services across traditional and digital channels to clients in Hong Kong. He will also drive the rollout of new initiatives across the region.

He joined BNP Paribas Wealth Management in 2013, having previously worked at Credit Suisse and CLSA.  Chan takes over from his predecessor Lemuel Lee, who was promoted to Head of Hong Kong Market, reporting to BNP Paribas Wealth Management Head of Greater China Markets Andy Chai.
