Temenos Enters Most Promising Asian Frontier Market
A retail and corporate bank in Myanmar selected Swiss banking software provider Temenos to support its corporate development growth.
Myanmar Citizens Bank selected Temenos’ T24 Core Banking to combine its core banking systems into a single platform. The Swiss fintech firm announced the deal in a statement.
The retail and corporate bank was established in 1991 and is based in Yangon. The lender currently operates through 23 branches across the country. It is one of a handful of companies listed on the nascent Yangon Stock Exchange.
