DHR Global Names Middle East and Africa Managing Partner

The Executive Search firm DHR Global has appointed Michael Patrick Okumu-Ringa as Managing Partner for the Middle East and Africa, based in Dubai, to lead regional expansion and strengthen the firm’s executive search and leadership advisory capabilities.

Michael Patrick Okumu-Ringa brings more than 14 years of experience across the region, with expertise in financial services, technology and digital assets. He will work with boards and senior leaders across sovereign-backed organizations, financial institutions, investment platforms and technology businesses, connecting clients with DHR’s global talent network through its London office.

“The Middle East and Africa represent an important growth opportunity for DHR, and Michael is exactly the kind of leader we want driving our expansion,” said CEO Priya Taneja.

Before joining DHR, Okumu-Ringa was a partner at a global executive search firm, leading its Financial Services and Technology practices across the Middle East and North Africa, as well as its global digital assets coverage. Earlier, he led senior leadership appointments at Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, working with the fund and its portfolio companies during a period of significant growth.

His appointment comes as regional economies pursue diversification and investment initiatives, including Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and Dubai’s D33 agenda, driving demand for experienced leaders.

DHR Global operates across more than 60 markets in 22 countries. The appointment reflects the firm’s continued investment in its international presence and its efforts to expand its reach across high-growth markets.
