Fenergo Launches AI Platform to Streamline Banking Compliance
Fenergo has unveiled an AI platform designed to automate client lifecycle management while maintaining regulatory oversight, as financial institutions step up investments in AI-powered compliance and onboarding.
The Dublin-headquartered provider of client lifecycle management (CLM) and Know Your Customer (KYC) solutions has launched Fen-AI, an agentic AI platform that enables banks to automate compliance processes across client onboarding, periodic reviews and ongoing monitoring.
Unlike conventional AI applications, the platform is designed to operate within governance frameworks, ensuring that every action, decision and data source is fully traceable. Fenergo says the technology combines automation with human oversight, allowing financial institutions to improve operational efficiency without compromising regulatory requirements.
Collaboration Between Multiple AI Agents
The platform also supports collaboration between multiple AI agents and third-party systems through a governed interface, while maintaining a complete audit trail. According to the company, this enables banks to move from periodic compliance reviews towards continuous monitoring of client data and regulatory obligations.
Fenergo said the first release includes six AI automation agents aimed at reducing manual work across the client lifecycle. Additional capabilities are expected to be introduced over the coming quarters.
The launch reflects a broader trend across the financial industry, where banks are increasingly deploying artificial intelligence to accelerate onboarding, strengthen KYC and anti-money laundering controls, and address rising compliance costs. Fenergo says more than 40 percent of the world’s 50 largest banks and over 110 financial institutions use its software.
