Lombard Odier Strengthens Asia Franchise

Lombard Odier has hired Four Experienced Bankers Across North and Southeast Asia. The Swiss Private Bank aims at strengthening its capabilities and client coverage in the Region.

The four new Bankers are Eugene Chan, Team Leader, Southeast Asia, and the Relationship Managers Jason Yap, Joey Huang and Isabella He. They will join the Lombard Odier Private Clients Team in Singapore and Hong Kong.

Eugene Chan brings close to 30 years of experience and joins from Bank of East Asia Private Bank, where he served as Market Head for Singapore. He previously held key positions at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, Bank of Montreal Wealth Management and the Royal Bank of Canada.

In his role, Eugene will lead a team of relationship managers and work closely with them to deliver high‑quality advice and support to clients, with a focus on the Southeast Asia market.

He joined Lombard Odier on the 30th of December 2025 and is based in Singapore. He reports to Andrea Meierhofer, Head of Southeast Asia, Private Clients.

Three Relationship Managers

Jason Yap (Picture below) brings more than 25 years of private wealth management experience. He was most recently Director at Bank of East Asia Private Bank, focusing on Southeast Asia and has held key positions at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, Bank of Montreal Singapore and Royal Bank of Canada (Asia) Limited.

He joined Lombard Odier on 5th January 2026 and is based in Singapore.

Joey Huang (Picture below) has more than 20 years of banking experience, including 16 years of private banking in onshore Taiwan. He was most recently a Senior Relationship Manager at Taishin International Bank and has previously held senior roles at Merrill Lynch & Co and local Taiwan banks including Fubon Bank and China Trust Commercial Bank.

With his extensive experience in the Taiwan market, he will further strengthen Lombard Odier’s bespoke advisory offerings in North Asia. He joined the bank 13th of March 2026 and is based in Singapore.

Isabella He (Picture below) joined Lombard Odier on the 1st of April 2026. She has over 18 years of industry experience in client advisory and managing strategic relationships with ultra-high-net-worth clients, family offices, institutional investors and private bank partners in the region.

Before joining Lombard Odier, she was Head of Investor Relations and Strategy at I-Mab Biopharma. She also brings experience from her previous roles at financial institutions including Citigroup, Morgan Stanley and UBS. She is based in Hong Kong.
