UBS and Young Investors Organization Shape NextGen Wealth Leaders

UBS is strengthening its ties with the next generation of investors and entrepreneurs through a renewed global partnership with the Young Investors Organization – a move aimed at shaping purpose-driven leadership and impact investing worldwide, with Asia Pacific playing a leading role in this transformation.

UBS and the Young Investors Organization (YIO) announced on 1 November 2025 in Cape Town, South Africa, an expanded alliance that builds on a collaboration dating back to 2007. Under the new agreement, UBS becomes the exclusive financial services partner of the YIO – the world’s leading network for next-generation wealth holders and innovators.

Headquartered in Zurich, the YIO now counts nearly 2,000 members across 75 countries and 19 hubs. The community has been expanding by more than 10 percent annually, driven by particularly strong growth in Asia Pacific, followed by Europe and North America. Its members, whose average age is 35, see their wealth as «catalytic capital for good.»

Asia Pacific’s Next Generation Takes the Lead

Asia Pacific has emerged as a powerhouse for next-generation wealth, reflecting the region’s dynamic entrepreneurial energy and rising intergenerational transitions. According to the latest «UBS Billionaire Ambitions Report», heirs and rising investors globally are set to inherit $6.3 trillion over the next 15 years – a shift that could redefine philanthropy, impact investing, and sustainability.

«UBS is committed to supporting the next generation of global wealth leaders,» said Benjamin Cavalli, Head of Strategic Clients & Global Connectivity at UBS Global Wealth Management. «Together with the YIO, we are creating a space where tomorrow’s leaders challenge convention, learn from each other, and build legacies that matter,» he added.

Redefining Success for a New Generation

For the YIO, the alliance marks a new level of global reach and influence. «We are not just building a community – we’re shaping a movement of young wealth creators who want to redefine success for their generation and beyond,» said Louise Huterstein, President of the YIO.

The partnership will extend access to UBS Next Gen programs, global summits, and cross-regional initiatives, connecting young investors – especially in Asia Pacific’s fast-growing markets – to education, mentorship, and sustainable investment opportunities.
