New Era of Connection for Single-Family Office Pros

Single-family office professionals have long operated in silos – juggling wealth transfer, cybersecurity risks, tech choices and generational dynamics without a peer sounding board. Now, the UHNW Institute is cutting across that isolation with the launch of SFO Circle, a global community built just for them.

Single-family office (SFO) executives often shoulder unique challenges: tight-knit family expectations, shifting generational demands, and operating lean teams. Amid that complexity, many feel disconnected from peers. The UHNW Institute’s new Circle aims to bridge that gap.

Known for its mission to elevate wealth-management standards, the UHNW Institute is launching SFO Circle to bring structure, resources and community to this underserved segment.

What’s in the Membership Toolkit

Members of SFO Circle gain access to: original and curated thought leadership, case studies, a resource library rooted in the Institute’s «Ten Domains of Family Wealth,» peer-only forums and regional clinics, purpose-designed programming (roundtables, study groups, a quarterly SFO podcast), a private networking portal, talent bootcamps, and advisory support tailored to family offices.

Journalist and wealth-industry veteran Kristen Oliveri has joined the UHNW Institute to spearhead SFO Circle. Her task: translate conversations with SFO leaders into a viable, high-value membership offering.

Who Can Join?

Prospective members must be senior executives or experienced professionals (minimum five years in a family office). The office must serve a single family, though it may also run an active business.

All applicants undergo vetting to ensure high standards. Membership is available globally, via individual or enterprise plans.

Symposium 2025 Welcomes SFO Focus

The UHNW Institute’s 5th Annual Symposium (Nov 17-18, 2025, NYC) will feature a dedicated SFO workshop on governance, operations and strategic alignment. It doubles as an inaugural touchpoint for SFO Circle’s community in action.

Deloitte reports over 8,000 single-family offices globally today – a 31 percent rise since 2019. As wealth continues to concentrate and next-gen leadership shifts emerge, these offices must professionalize, scale, and future-proof operations. SFO Circle is poised to be a catalyst.
