Rajah & Tann Backs Legaltech Talent Push

Singapore’s Rajah & Tann has joined forces with Ngee Ann Polytechnic, the Singapore Academy of Law, and legaltech firm Lexagle to groom future-ready talent and strengthen the city-state’s role as a regional hub for legal innovation.

The four parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to equip students and educators with hands-on skills in legal technology.

The initiative supports Singapore’s ambition to develop a digitally empowered legal ecosystem while boosting the employability of its ICT-trained workforce.

Law Firm Brings Industry Edge

Under the collaboration, Rajah & Tann will contribute to curriculum design, guest lectures, workshops, and mentorship programmes. The firm also plans to open up its proprietary legaltech platforms for training and create internship opportunities for students.

The MOU also paves the way for joint projects, co-developed learning content, and «industry-in-curriculum» initiatives. These will expose students to real-world applications of legal technology and complement SAL’s work on a SkillsFuture framework for allied legal professionals.
