Climate Business Forum to be Held in Hong Kong

The second edition of the Climate Business Forum: Asia Pacific will be held in Hong Kong next month and co-hosted by the local banking regulator.

Climate Business Forum: Asia Pacific 2025 will be held in Hong Kong on September 9, according to a statement, with expectations of attendance by over 250 global and regional leaders in business and finance.

Key themes at the one-day forum include the use of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies and innovations in energy transition, decarbonization of heavy industry, sustainable supply chains, financing solutions for biodiversity and adaptation, as well as the latest trends in energy transition investment in the region.

HKMA as Co-Host

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and World Bank member International Finance Corporation will co-host the event which is in its second edition after its inauguration in 2024. Research provider for commodities and climate transition technologies BloombergNEF will serve as the forum’s knowledge partner.
