Zühlke Appoints Principal Director in Hong Kong
Zühlke, a Swiss innovation consultancy with a significant presence in Asia, has named a Principal Director in Hong Kong to drive APAC growth. The appointment marks a key step, the firm noted.
Zühlke, headquartered in Schlieren near Zurich in Switzerland, named Prashant Somavajhalu as Principal Director Hong Kong, according to a media release, calling it an important milestone in the company’s ongoing expansion strategy in Asia-Pacific (APAC).
His key mandate is to drive growth in new business areas across critical sectors. By shaping Zühlke’s offerings to fit regional needs, he is expected to play a central role in accelerating the firm’s market presence and client engagement throughout Greater China and beyond.
Proven Industry Expertise
Somavajhalu brings over 20 years of experience in the IT services sector, with a solid background in both sales and executive leadership roles. His career highlights include managing large-scale client portfolios, formulating strategic client initiatives, and delivering sustained growth.
According to Eric Cheung, CEO APAC and Member of the Group Executive Committee at Zühlke, Somavajhalu’s depth of expertise and proven ability to engage clients effectively make him an ideal fit for the role.
