The Beijing-based fintech and wealth manager has hired a chief executive in Singapore, who will help the firm build out its wealth management business outside of China.

CreditEase Wealth Management has hired Kenneth Yeo as Singapore CEO, who joins the company after 15 years at HSBC.

Yeo was most recently HSBC Private Bank's managing director and head of investment services and product solutions, Southeast Asia, and before that was Asia Pacific head of private banking sales for structured equity, rates and funds at HSBC Global Markets.

In a LinkedIn post announcing his move earlier this week, Yeo said that CreditEase is «committed to developing strong technological capabilities and using science and technology to promote financial innovation and holistic Wealth Planning and Management.»

HNW Focus

CreditEase provides professional global asset allocation services, wealth management services and investment consulting services for China’s HNW individuals, with branches in mainland China, as well as Hong Kong, Singapore, Israel, Europe and North America.

The company opened its Singapore office in October 2014 with a focus on global real estate finance and investment, and grew its presence in the city-state after receiving an asset management license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore in 2016.
