A raft of changes announced to the leadership structure of UBS in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan markets.
Amy Lo and August Hatecke, have announced their first major organizational shake-up since they began sharing power under a co-head structure at UBS at the start of this year.
In an internal memo circulated by Lo and Hatecke, seen by finews.asia, the following changes were announced effective of the 1st of April :
- Adeline Chien, current Regional Market Manager (RMM) Hong Kong Domestic has been promoted to Head of Wealth Management, Hong Kong Domestic.
- David Man, current RMM Taiwan International has been promoted to Head of WM Taiwan International.
- Frank Niedermann, current RMM APAC Switzerland has been promoted to Head of WM APAC Switzerland.
- LH Koh, current RMM Hong Kong Domestic & Japan has been promoted to Head of WM China International.
- Marina Lui, long-billed Lo's most trusted lieutenant, has a newly expanded role as Head of Wealth Management China, overseeing both China Domestic and China International, «to ensure the delivery of an effective and coordinated onshore/offshore coverage critical to this crucial market,» the memo stated. Lui will also have oversight of Koh, who will have an additional reporting line to her. In addition, Lui is also Wealth Management Hong Kong Location Head.
- Raymond Ang, Head UHNW Southeast Asia, has been promoted to Head of Wealth Management Southeast Asia and Wealth Management Singapore Location Head. Dino Rinaldi, current Operating Head for Wealth Management Singapore, will succeed Raymond Ang as Head of UHNW Southeast Asia and report to Ravi Raju.
