Allfunds Boosts Presence in Asia
Allfunds Bank Group added three major appointments at its Asia office, in its push to better serve clients in the region.
Allfunds Bank Group appointed Oliver Stewart-Malir as chief operating officer (COO) for Asia and Edwin Tan as new head of client services for Asia. They will report to Alexis Fosler, Regional Manager for Asia.
The integrated fund solutions provider also appointed Vinita Badlani as head of funds groups for Asia, who will report to Borja Largo, Global Head of Funds Group. Allfunds launched its Asian operations in Singapore in December 2016.
«As our business expands in the region, the additional hires will help our global and local clients to achieve their goals,» said Fosler.
Many Solutions, One Roof
Distributors have become increasingly interested in Allfunds because of its global expertise working in different regulated markets, non-conflicting business model (pure institutional B2B player) and, open architecture solution, Foster told finews.asia.
«Our clients look for holistic proposition with the wide range of fund offering, transaction processing, information services and fund research activities, and we can provide it all under a single roof,» she said.
New Hires
Oliver has over 14 years of experience in operations management with financial services companies. Previously, he spent 13 years at Goldman Sachs based in Singapore, Tokyo, New York and London. During his time at Goldman Sachs, Oliver held multiple leadership roles including Asia Pacific Head of Liquidity & Collateral Operations as well as Head of Asia for Derivative Projects.
Edwin has 16 years of financial services experience, including client relationship and fund services roles, and will join from Citco Fund Services. Vinita, Head of Funds Groups for Asia, previously held a leadership role at Navigator, an integrated investment platform by Aviva, overseeing the due diligence process for funds and designing competitive funds offerings.
