NAB Names New Board Director
National Australia Bank announced a former Westpac New Zealand chief executive will join its board as a non-executive director.
Ann Sherry, who is the current executive chairman of Carnival Australia, a cruise ship operator in Australasia, been appointed to National Australia Bank's (NAB's) board of directors. Her appointment will be subject to regulatory approval, NAB said in a statement to the Australian stock exchange (ASX).
Banking and Family Office Roles
She currently holds non-executive director positions for Sydney Airport, Palladium Group, Infrastructure Victoria, Australian Rugby Union, Tourism & Transport Forum, the Museum of Contemporary Art and Cape York Partnerships.
Sherry previously held executive roles at Westpac New Zealand, Bank of Melbourne and People & Performance. Sherry spent 12 years in a variety of senior roles at Westpac. She was also a non-executive director at the The Myer Family Company (MFCo).
