Swiss private bank Union Bancaire Privee has hired a Citigroup banker to fill a key equity sales role.

Geneva-based Union Banciare Privee, or UBP, said it is hiring Adele Yeo to lead a team of investment advisors. She will report to Ranjit Khanna and be based in Singapore.

Yeo joins from Citigroup, where she was an equity sales director at the U.S. bank's markets arm for more than five years. Previous postings including equity sales at Credit Suisse and roles at J.P. Morgan and BNP Paribas in Singapore.

UBP CEO Guy de Picciotto detailed his firm's goals in Asia in an interview with finews.asia earlier this year.
